Project History

Afluente T was created in 2008, from the spin-off of another controlled company of Grupo Neoenergia, the Afluente Geração e Transmissão de Energia Elétrica. This, in turn, was created in 2005 to take over the deverticalised generation and transmission assets of Companhia de Eletricidade do Estado da Bahia (Coelba), also owned by the Grupo.
