Projects executed with transparency
The Neoenergia Group promotes the society participation in its energy efficiency program through Public Hearings held each year in March through its distributors (Neoenergia Coelba, Neoenergia Pernambuco, Neoenergia Cosern and Neoenergia Elektro), presenting and discussing its results and projects, as well as requesting suggestions. Another way to participate is the Public Call for Projects, which happens annually with the objective of identifying consumers interested in presenting project proposals to carry out energy efficiency actions in their consumer units. The Public Calls for Projects make the selection process for PEE actions even more transparent and democratic.
The holding of Public Hearings and Public Calls for Projects are obligations set forth in the regulations of the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel).
