Investments increased by 46% compared to 2024 and reached 93 initiatives developed in the Federal District and four other states

The Neoenergia Institute earmarked R$27.6 million for social projects in 2025 through 12 federal and state incentive laws, an amount 46% higher than the previous year when around R$18.9 million was invested.

Since 2019, the Institute has made more than R$84 million available in incentive funds to boost social projects in the regions of the country where Neoenergia is present, making use of state and federal laws for culture, sport and those aimed at children and young people, the elderly and people with disabilities and cancer patients.

In 2025, through incentive laws, the Neoenergia Institute benefited more than 2.5 million people and supported 93 initiatives developed in the Federal District, Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte and São Paulo. Most of the funds (R$ 19.8 million | 71%) went to art, culture and sport initiatives. Rio Grande do Norte was the state that received the most projects (28), followed by the Federal District (19).
