With operations of this profile, Neoenergia reinforces an asset rotation strategy with a focus on portfolio control and optimization

In a statement sent to the market this Tuesday, September 26th, Neoenergia announced the closing of the exchange contract concluded between the Company and Centrais Eléricas do Norte do Brasil S.A. Eletronorte, a company controlled by Eletrobras. With operations of this profile, Neoenergia reinforces its asset rotation strategy with a focus on portfolio control and optimization.

According to the statement, with the closing of the transaction, Neoenergia now consolidates 100% of the operation of Energetica Água de Pedra S.A. - EAPSA (Dardanelos Hydroelectric Power Plant), with a total installed capacity of 261 MW and ceases to have any participation in the Teles Pires Hydroelectric Power Plant, whose common shares represented 50.56%.

Regarding Baguari, Neoenergia reported that the previous conditions have been met and are due to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
