The concession contracts related to the Transmission Auction No. 04/2018, made by the Agency on December 20, on the Stock Exchange (B3) in São Paulo, were signed on Monday, March 25, at the Palácio do Planalto, in Brasília. Neoenergia has won batches 1 (the largest in dispute), 2, 3 and 14, which include lines and substations in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo. The works have a term of 60 months and expected to generate 12 thousand direct jobs.

The contract signing ceremony was attended by President Jair Bolsonaro, Minister of Mines and Energy, Bento Albuquerque, ANEEL Director General André Pepitone, the CEO of the Neoenergia Group, Mario Ruiz-Tagle and the Deputy Director Chairman, Solange Ribeiro.​
