In addition to renewable energy, the company guarantees an assessment of the

technical and economic conditions before customers contract the service

The free energy contracting environment (ACL) is attracting an increasing number of customers in Brazil. Through its trading company, Neoenergia offers secure conditions for those interested in migrating. In addition to guaranteeing clean energy, 100% from renewable sources, the company thoroughly assesses the technical and economic conditions for supplying the free market, which today is only authorized for consumers connected to medium and high voltage, with electricity bills starting at R$5,000, such as bakeries, mini-markets and hospitals.

With the aim of guiding its customers to secure contracts, Neoenergia provides specialized consultancy and contract management. The first step is to analyze the feasibility of migration, which includes a study of recent electricity bills or a 12-month history to assess the behavior of energy consumption and demand.

"Neoenergia offers the best opportunities on the market to help consumers when contracting energy, ensuring the best use of resources," says Rita Knop, Neoenergia's commercial director.

According to the executive, one of the main advantages of the free market is saving energy costs. Neoenergia offers the service with a tariff reduction of up to 35%. "The free market represents a lever for entrepreneurs to boost their business. The amounts obtained from the reduction in the electricity bill can be transformed, for example, into investment to expand the business's core activity. These savings can be used, for example, to expand the client portfolio, hire staff or buy new equipment," says Rita Knop.
