The company was awarded 'double A' by CDP in Water and Climate and was included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2026

Neoenergia has been awarded a double A by CDP, being included for the first time in the Water 'A List' and recognized for the second consecutive year in the Climate 'A List'. These recognitions demonstrate the maturity of the company's environmental governance and its continuous progress in managing climate risks, emissions and water resources. CDP is a global non-profit organization responsible for one of the world's leading independent environmental disclosure systems.

The company was also included, for the seventh consecutive year, in the Sustainability Yearbook 2026, prepared by S&P Global. In this edition, more than 9,000 companies were assessed and only 9% achieved a position in the yearbook, which highlights organizations with superior sustainability performance based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) methodology. The CSA is recognized for connecting sustainability practices to business strategy and comparing companies based on economic, environmental and social criteria specific to each sector.

Another sector ranking in which Neoenergia participates is the Clean200, in which the company is in 2nd place in the utilities and publicly traded segment with the highest sustainable revenue generation in the world. In the overall list, the company moved up to 28th place and 14 places higher than last year.

In total, more than 8,000 companies were evaluated and only 200 were selected according to their revenues derived from sustainable activities. This analysis is carried out according to Corporate Knights' Sustainable Economy Taxonomy.

Clean200 is a joint initiative of As You Sow, a reference organization in corporate social and environmental responsibility, and Corporate Knights, an international media and research company dedicated to promoting a clean and sustainable economy. Neoenergia is also listed in B3's Carbon Efficient Index (ICO2) portfolio.
