registrations are valid in eight states and the Federal District

Rio de Janeiro, March 8, 2024

The Neoenergia Institute celebrates International Women's Day with the launch of the fourth edition of the Inspirar Award, which values the female role in art and culture. Registrations start today, are free and run until March 28th. The selection is open to those who are leading artistic and cultural projects in eight states (BA, MS, PB, PE, PI, RJ, RN and SP) and in the Federal District, regions where Neoenergia operates. In all, 16 leaders will be recognized. Just access the site da organização to learn about the regulations.

The launch on this important date reinforces our commitment to private social investment to promote gender equity in Brazilian society. Female leadership is fundamental to overcoming the challenges of the 2030 Agenda, especially in the field of art and culture, which offers so many opportunities for socioeconomic development,” says Renata Chagas, CEO

of the Neoenergia Institute.

The Inspirar Prize 2024 will distribute R$ 122,800.00 to the winners, including 14 of them chosen by popular vote, and two for cultural merit granted by a committee also made up of women. The selection will be made in two categories: Women (individuals) and Collectives (non-formalized groups with more than one year in activity). The actions promoted must be committed to that ODS 5 - Igualdade de Gênero of the United Nations (UN), and to positive transformations in socially vulnerable territories
