The Neoenergia Institute launched the last episode of the first season of the Nossas Vozes Project, which presents inspiring life stories of its beneficiaries and partners told by themselves. Launched in 2022, the six episodes, available in a special section on the Institute's website and social networks, bring together videos, photographs and texts that highlight the role of outstanding characters who are contributing to the achievement of sustainable development with the support of the Neoenergia Institute.

Produced in collaboration with the Escola de Notícias, an organization participating in the Impactô Social Acceleration Program , an initiative carried out by the Institute since 2019, Our Voices aims to sensitize society about the importance of Private Social Investment (ISP) for the solution of the country's socio-environmental challenges and reduction of inequalities. “I always say that no one does anything alone. The project deeply touches people's hearts, as it shows that by doing together and through a lot of dedication and love for a cause, we can all be protagonists of social transformation. We want companies, institutes and foundations to be increasingly aware of the ISP's role in this process”, explains Renata Chagas, director of the Neoenergia Institute.

In the last episode, Vera Santana, educator and community leader from Natal (RN), is the one who shares her story. The 66-year-old teacher started teaching at a young age, at the age of 14, educating people in Rio Grande do Norte. With a career dedicated to teaching, she founded Associação Terramar, which carries out Conexão Felipe Camarão, a cultural project aimed at young people from the humble neighborhood of the same name in the capital of Potiguar. In 2019, the action was one of those supported by the Public Notice Transformando Energia em Cultura of the Neoenergia Institute.
