Neoenergia Provider Companies carry out special technical visits to hospitals, sanitation companies and prisons
The world is in unison to fight COVID-19. Health care professionals have worked twice as hard to treat patients and study the new disease. But, in addition, there are other categories that continue to work in order to ensure the power required for hospitals to function.
Neoenergia employees are carrying out special technical visits on more than 1,200 health care units, in an effort to ensure the power that keeps implements such as lighting and breathing equipment working. The work of technicians from Coelba, Celpe, Cosern and Elektro is to identify solutions for factors that may cause problems to the power grid supplying the hospitals.
Inspections are made in substations, networks and cabinets. According to need, there may be, for example, pruning of trees, creation of projects in order to assess installed capacity and analysis of generators. In addition to technical visits, there is also a direct channel between hospitals and energy provider companies to speed up service in case of emergencies involving the power grid.
This initiative is part of theIberdrola group's response to the Coronavírus.
