The five distributors of Neoenergia - Neoenergia Coelba (BA), Neoenergia Pernambuco (PE), Neoenergia Cosern (RN), Neoenergia Elektro (SP and MG) and Neoenergia Brasília (DF) - reinforced the work in order to ensure the supply of energy during the New Year celebrations. The company performed preventive maintenance in the electrical circuits of the concession area states, in addition to intensifying the teams that will be on duty to serve consumers in the period.
Neoenergia Coelba increased the number of coastal cities in Bahia by 20%. More than 900 electricians will be on standby for emergency cases in the state, and 150 will be positioned in strategic locations to ensure speed in turn-of-year care. With the completion of interventions and actions of the Summer Plan, the distributor does not expect overload in the system.
At Neoenergia Pernambuco, more than 100 teams will take advantage of uninterrupted shift scales. The monitoring and general control of the electrical system throughout the state will be under the supervision of the Integrated Operations Center (IOC), which will have a team of 45 controllers, engineers and supervisors. Preventively, the company carried out inspections and maintenance in the electrical network of the most moving sites – only on the coast, approximately 14,000 pruning was carried out and 18 substations, 47 feeders and 213 km of network were inspected in coastal cities, benefiting 426,000 customers.
In Rio Grande do Norte, Neoenergia Cosern will have 70 teams of electricians on duty, 15 technicians and engineers working at the IOC and 15 employees in technical support. The concessionaire also installed Mobile Substations in strategic points of the state for urgent cases, in addition to performing preventive and corrective maintenance in the state's electrical circuits.
In São Paulo, 260 Professionals of Neoenergia Elektro, including electricians, technicians and operators, will reinforce the distributor's teams near the most sought-after points by tourists for the turn, especially on the beaches of the São Paulo coast. The concessionaire also increased the number of controllers in the IOC, located at the Head Of, in Campinas, to intervene in emergency cases.
Neoenergia Brasília tripled the teams on duty in the Federal District, which will be ready to act in case of possible interruption in the power supply. More than 8,000 kilometers of the electricity distribution network have been inspected and have received preventive maintenance in recent months in order to avoid disturbances caused by heavy rains, lightning and winds, which usually reach the region in the period.
Neoenergia's virtual service channels and operational duty will be available 24 hours a day and ready for guidance, registration and service service.
