Neoenergia distributors carry out special operation for Enem application

1/15/21

On the next two Sundays, January 17th and 24th, students from all over the country will take the National High School Exam (Enem). In Bahia, Rio Grande do Norte, São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul, Neoenergia‘s energy distributors have prepared a special plan to ensure energy supply in the 593 municipalities they serve and their locations where the test occurs. In total, over 3,000 kilometers of the power distribution network were inspected in the cities where Enem will be applied.

The planning, carried out in recent months, included inspections and preventive maintenance of the electrical circuits that serve the test sites, as well as the structuring of special work schedules for calling technical teams in case of need.

During the two Sundays, a contingent of stand-by teams will be organized, involving over 700 employees. Therefore, the concessionaires strengthen the reliability of the electrical system and prevent possible disruptions in the energy supply during the testing day.

In the days of Enem, programmed shutdowns that can impact the application of the tests will be avoided in these places. Call Center services will be on a special schedule and remote monitoring of the test sites will also be performed.
