Neoenergia's new campaign celebrates female power in sport and reinforces support for the brand's female athlete ambassadors

Olympic medalists Bia Souza, Ana Marcela, Antonia Silva, Rayane Soares and other athletes from Team Neoenergia star in the "More for Women's Sport" campaign and reinforce the importance of equal opportunities

 

The athletes from the Neoenergia Team star in the brand's new advertising campaign "More for Women's Sport", which opens this Tuesday (15) on digital platforms and free-to-air TV. In the launch film, champions Bia Souza (judo), Ana Marcela (open water), Antonia Silva (soccer), and Rayane Soares (paralympic athletics) and other ambassador athletes, reinforce Neoenergia's commitment to encouraging society to value the presence of women in and out of sport.

With footage shot at the Time Brasil Training Centre in Rio de Janeiro, the film also reinforces Neoenergia's partnership with the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), especially on issues associated with equal opportunities, a pillar that is part of both organizations' commitments. The campaign was launched during the II Fórum Mulher no Esporte (II Women in Sport Forum), an event promoted by the COB to debate the challenges and advances of female participation in sport.

The new piece also features Bruna Kajiya (Kitesurfing), Celine Bispo (Swimming), Mirelle Leite (Athletics) and Tota Magalhães (Cycling). Another aim of the campaign is to encourage public and corporate support in the post-Olympic period. "More for women's sport" is connected to the "More for you" campaign recently launched by Neoenergia.

In addition to the film, Neoenergia will be showing other content, making-of videos and interviews with the athletes. The videos use artificial intelligence resources to aid production, an innovative model for companies in the electricity sector. The company has also planned other media actions for the "More for women's sport" campaign until the end of the year.
