Committed to expanding the participation of women in society, Neoenergia offers opportunities for them to gain space in the labor market. Registration for the School of Electricians is open to the cities of São Paulo and, in the coming days, will also start for the Federal District. In all, there will be 25 new classes, one of them exclusively for women, in addition to 60% of the vacancies reserved for the female public. The courses are free and aim to promote professional training for those who want to work in the electricity sector. See below the complete schedule of registrations.

"It is an initiative that generates job opportunity and income for those who want to enter the profession of electrician, either as an independent or as an employee of a company. In parallel, we are contributing to increase the participation of women in this segment. For us, gender equity is a priority", says Régia Barbosa, Superintendent of Organizational Development and Culture at Neoenergia. The executive adds that more than 400 women have already formed by the School of Electricians and about 270 have been hired by Neoenergia distributors since the project began in 2017.

The course lasts for five months, with remote theoretical classes and face-to-face practices. The prerequisites for enrolling are: living in the areas available (Brasília or São Paulo), being over 18 years of age, complete high school and National Driver's License (CNH) in categories B, C or D.

Itapeva (SP): the registrations of the mixed class are open until June 28, by the site .

Tatuí, Leme and São João da Boa Vista (SP): the registrations of the mixed class will be open from 16 to 26 July, through the site.

Neoenergy Brasilia

Sobradinho (DF): the registrations of the mixed class will be open from June 27 to July 8, through the site.

Gama (DF): registration slates for the exclusive class for women will be open from June 27 to July 8, through the website.
