Mobility
To guarantee autonomy for the fleet and encourage the expansion of sustainable mobility, Neoenergia is working on three strategic projects in Fernando de Noronha:
Electric trolleys for local service;
Electro-post offices;
Electric bicycle charging stations.

Green Trail
Its main objective was, through solar photovoltaic systems, to encourage the use of electric vehicles in environmentally responsible business models, integrating this mobility with the expansion of clean energy generation in the archipelago.
Electric Vehicles
The 14 electric vehicles that drive around the island every day are powered by clean energy generated by local solar plants, reducing noise, operating costs and CO₂ emissions, without compromising the archipelago's charm and tranquillity, and contributing to the Noronha Zero Carbon Law. This project is part of the Research, Development and Innovation Program, regulated by ANEEL.
The plants have capacities far greater than those needed to charge the project's cars and their surpluses are injected into the distribution network, thus expanding the use of renewable sources for local consumers. In addition, Neoenergia has implemented a storage system with a capacity of 100 kW / 215 kWh to enable the use of clean energy even at times when there is not enough solar generation.
Among the highlights is the first 100% electric buggy developed in Brazil,
a milestone in the history of sustainable mobility and a symbol of Brazil's technological potential. The Brazilian electric buggy was designed for sandy terrain, combining efficiency, performance and zero emissions.
Electric stations
To support the operation of the electric fleet and encourage the use of sustainable mobility, the Mais por Noronha project includes a network of 12 charging stations, through the Research Development and Innovation Program, regulated by ANEEL, which use clean energy from photovoltaic solar power plants, guaranteeing a 100% renewable supply in the region. With this initiative, Neoenergia reinforces its commitment to the Noronha Zero Carbon Law.
Already installed, there are eight charging points with a power of 22 kW, which enable faster supply, and two stations with a power of 7.4 kW, which support V2G (vehicle-to-grid) - vehicles that have bidirectional flow and can also use the charging station to return unused energy, such as during periods of high network demand. Two more charging points are being completed and will be strategically distributed throughout the region for everyone's use.

Electric Bike Charging Station
To encourage sustainable mobility through electric bicycles made available to residents and tourists visiting Noronha, Neoenergia aims to install four charging stations in the region, each with six connections, totaling 24 charging points for the bikes, which can be used free of charge. The initiative is part of the Energy Efficiency Program, regulated by ANEEL.
The energy consumed by the equipment is generated by the solar panels installed on the roofs of the stations, which were donated to the State Government by Neoenergia.
