Neoenergia's distributors achieved positive results that demonstrate the market's recovery trajectory in their concession areas – Neoenergia Coelba (BA), Neoenergia Pernambuco (PE), Neoenergia Cosern (PE), Neoenergia Elektro (SP and MS) and Neoenergia Brasília (DF). The injected energy totaled 56,104 GWh in the first nine months of the year, an increase of 5.6% compared to the same period last year, considering Neoenergia Brasília, incorporated in March 2021. When analyzed only in the third quarter of the year, the injected energy totaled 18,894 GWh, registering a growth of 3.6%
When analyzing the results of each distributor in the quarter, Neoenergia Cosern recorded a 6.3% increase in injected energy and Neoenergia Coelba comes soon after with an increase of 4.8%. At Neoenergia Brasília, growth reached 3.7%, while at Neoenergia Pernambuco, the injected energy rose 2.8%. Finally, at Neoenergia Elektro there was an increase of 2.0%.

The fight against losses was highlighted and continue in the downward trajectory. During 12 months, the distributors Neoenergia Coelba (BA), Neoenergia Pernambuco (PE), Neoenergia Elektro (SP/MS) and Neoenergia Brasília (DF) were reduced. Neoenergia Cosern (RN) follows within the regulatory limit. The results are the result of the intensification of the actions of the loss reduction plan and better performance of the high voltage market.
In all, actions to combat losses contributed to the recovery of 320 GWh in the first nine months of the year in initiatives carried out by the distributors Neoenergia Coelba, Neoenergia Pernambuco, Neoenergia Cosern and Neoenergia Elektro. The results are the result of the intensification of the actions of the plan to reduce losses and better performance of the high voltage market, with initiatives that include carrying out 478,000 inspections, replacement of 400,000 obsolete or defective meters, regularization of 60,000 customers, and the supervision of street lighting in more than 720,000 points.
In the case of Neoenergia Brasília, incorporated in March 2021, an increase in recovered energy has been observed five times higher than in the same period of 2020. Among the actions aimed at this goal, more than 29,000 inspections in consumer units stand out - recovering an energy of 55 GWh - regularization of 19,000 customers and supervision of public lighting in more than 300,000 points.
