Neoenergia, the largest private group in the Brazilian electricity sector in terms of number of clients, has more than 150 vacancies open for electricians specializing in electrical network construction, to be based in cities in Bahia (Neoenergia Coelba) and Pernambuco (Neoenergia Pernambuco). The opportunities are aimed at professionals with experience in building medium and low voltage networks. The hiring process is part of Neoenergia's expansion plan, which accompanies progress in economic and social development in the states where it operates. The professionals selected will be responsible for activities such as setting up poles, laying cables, assembling structures, clearing strips and operating equipment, starting immediately at the construction sites.

Growth in the electricity sector drives demand for professionals

The vacancies reflect the current pace of growth in energy infrastructure in the Northeast. In 2024 alone, the Neoenergia group invested R$9.8 billion in Brazil, according to a survey by the Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industries (ABDIB), leading the national ranking among the companies that have invested the most in infrastructure in the country. Of this total, R$3.5 billion was allocated to Bahia, covering the areas of distribution, transmission and generation of renewable energy.

Professional profile and benefits

• Training in Electricity Distribution Network Electricians (Lines and Networks);
• Experience in expansion works and distribution networks;
• Driver's license category B (minimum);
• NR 10 (basic and complementary) and NR 35 certifications.
