With the initiative, Neoenergia Pernambuco customers can make donations via electricity bill

Neoenergia Pernambuco established a partnership with the Muda Mundo Network, through Transforma Brasil and Porto Social, to assist the victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul through the “Conta do Bem” project. The initiative aims to strengthen ties of solidarity and offer a practical and accessible way for people from Pernambuco to contribute.

Conta do Bem is a company initiative that allows customers to join a voluntary donation through an electricity bill. By joining forces, the Muda Mundo Network facilitates the channeling of these donations to help, this time, those who were affected by the recent floods in the southern region of the country.

“This is an action that says a lot about the purpose of Neoenergia Pernambuco and communicates with one of our main pillars: caring for people, regardless of where they are. The reality experienced by the population of Rio Grande do Sul is moving and mobilizes us to be more supportive.

We hope that our more than four million clients will participate in this action and help to minimize the suffering of the people of Rio Grande do Sul,” said Saulo Cabral, CEO of Neoenergia Pernambuco.

Membership is simple: customers can choose to donate in the amount of R$ 2.33 or another amount, over a period of three months, on the website www.portosocial.org/Contadobem . Contributions will be critical to providing assistance to communities facing challenges resulting from the natural disaster.
