The opportunities are for non-profit organizations and institutions able to raise funds through tax incentives. The selection is available for the Transforming Energy into Culture, Playing Together and the unprecedented Ilumina Social notices, which will support projects that have children, adolescents, the elderly, cancer patients and people

with disabilities as beneficiaries.

Social transformation and support for community initiatives

The actions of the Neoenergia Institute show the importance of private social investment for sustainable and socioeconomic development in several Brazilian regions.

“We believe in the importance of multisectoral cooperation to leverage the socioeconomic development of communities where Neoenergia is present. Financial support for social projects is essential to stimulate the transformation of realities and the improvement of the quality of life of the population involved,” says Renata Chagas, CEO

of the Neoenergia Institute.

The selected projects will be accredited for funding through federal and state incentive laws throughout the years 2025 and 2026. The objective is to strengthen projects aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to generate a positive impact in the five states and the Federal District

.

“The partnership with the Neoenergia Institute has made it possible to expand young people's access to the cinematographic universe. In addition to the chance to see their stories on the screen, they can professionally build a life trajectory based on art and culture ,” says Valéria Marcondes, leader of the Let's Go to the Cinema project in Brasilia, supported in 2023 by the Transforming Energy into Culture public notice.
