Considered the greatest open-water swimmer of all time, Ana Marcela Cunha from Bahia is qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The ambassador of the Neoenergia Team took an important step in the search for the two-time Olympic championship and for this reason, since the beginning of the year, she has had the support of the

brand.

“Now I will have another six months at home to be able to continue training but competitions. I'm very happy. And again I hope to finish with a golden key,” said Ana Marcela, shortly after winning fifth place at the World Cup in Doha, held last Saturday (3/2

).

Committed to promoting gender equity and boosting women's sports in Brazil, Neoenergia will help athletes to raise the quality of their preparation for competitions in France.

“In addition to encouraging the inclusion of women in sports, we want to strengthen and humanize the brand in the country, especially in the regions where we are present ,” says Lorenzo Perales, Marketing Director of Neoenergia.

Ana Marcela is a representative of the Sea Defense Council of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) and Sustainability Ambassador of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), focusing on cleaning and depolluting seas and rivers.
