Eletric sector companies are united in actions to combat Covid-19
Companies from all segments of the electric sector (energy generation, transmission, distribution and trading) are united in a campaign aiming at raising funds for Fiocruz emergency fund, in support to the production and acquisition of diagnosis test kits for Covid-19.
Such tests are critical to identify patients infected with the virus.
Up to now (April 9), six companies (Enel, Energisa, Engie, Isa Cteep, Light and Neoenergia) are commited to make donations, in a total amount of 9 million Brazilian reais.
The campaign is in progress and the expectation is that in the next days further companies join Fiocruz “Unidos Contra a Covid-19" (United Against Covid-19) program.
Acende Brasil Institute is coordinating this campaign with the electric sector and new donations will be well-come by the phone number: (11) 96429-0559.
