Brazilian under-23 road cycling and time trial champion, Tota Magalhães is from Rio de Janeiro and currently competes on the European circuit, at the highest level of world cycling, with the support of Neoenergia.

In 2025, the cyclist became the first Brazilian in history to compete in the women's Tour de France, the main road cycling competition in the world.

Main Achievements

Brazilian time trial cycling champion in 2024;

Brazilian Road Cycling Champion in 2023 (Elite category).

Two-time Brazilian under-23 champion in the Road and Time Trial races in 2021 and 2022.

She also competed in the Women's Giro d'Italia in 2023 and 2024.

I always recommend the documentary series Tour de France: In the Heart of the Peloton. And a very good movie I watched was Fearless .

Do you have any superstitions before a race?

I always like to send a message to my parents before the race, I feel safe doing that.

Do you have any hobbies?

I really like coffee and have studied a lot about it. I also watch a lot of soccer and love photography.

How did sport come into your life?

Through my family! I've always tried sports and played soccer for a long time. My family also cycle and always do a Christmas cycle. I started training to take part and keep up with them.
