Distributors maintain preventive protocols, reinforce controllers structure and number of professionals in next Sunday's vote (30)

Neoenergia's distributors resumed preventive action to ensure the quality of the power supply during the second round of elections, October 30. The special scheme includes inspection of the entire electrical network, in the electrical circuits of the polling and transmission sites.

The five concessionaires – Neoenergia Brasília, Neoenergia Coelba, Neoenergia Cosern, Neoenergia Elektro and Neoenergia Pernambuco – are with reinforced teams to act on the ballot, as well as electoral notatories and polling centers. Technicians performed preventive and corrective maintenance in the circuits of all states served by distributors. The inspections, on the other, focused on the lines and networks that supply the buildings of electoral zones and regional electoral courts. In the Federal District, Neoenergia Brasília carried out the inspection of the installations and electrical circuits that serve the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).

The special operation for the election period is added to the continuous maintenance actions already carried out by the company in the concession areas. In this way, teams are able to assess the specific needs of polling places and perform services in advance in order to ensure a quality and reliable power supply.
