Neoenergia’s Energy Efficiency Program has issued an open call for proposals. With an investment of R$ 155 million, interested parties may submit project proposals in accordance with the technical and commercial criteria defined in the call for proposals, available on the Neoenergia website (www.neoenergia.com).

Funding will be provided for projects in various sectors—industrial, rural, government, commerce and services, public utilities, residential (condominiums), and street lighting—within the company’s operating areas in the Federal District, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Bahia, Pernambuco, and Rio Grande do Norte.

The initiative, regulated by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), aims to promote projects that encourage the rational use of electricity. Projects will be selected that involve the improvement of electrical installations, including reLED initiatives, generation from incentivized sources (solar photovoltaic), and energy storage (BESS).
