NC Energia

NC has been acting for more than 7 years and its major activities aim at operations with purchase and sale transactions of energy, maximizing the results for its clients. The company fosters auctions, represents consumers and producers, offers consulting services and energetic management.

During the year of 2008, NC commercialized a total of 2,306 GWh in contracts with free consumers, traders and other agents. With this, it closed the fiscal year of 2008, with Net Income of R$ 27.5 million and EBTIDA of R$ 44.7 million. The participation of NC Energia in generating cash from the Neoenergia Group is of approximately 2%.

It is worth further to highlight the performance of NC Energia at the alternative sources of energy, clean and renewable, as in the case of the partnerships established in the sugarcane-alcohol segment.
