Bahia PCH I

Sítio Grande PCH is a 100% Neoenergia project that is being implanted on the Fêmeas River, in the municipality of São Desidério, state of Bahia. The small Hydroelectric Power Plant will have installed power of 25 MW and ensured power of 19.6 MW.

Its installation license was obtained in August 3rd 2007 and the construction works started in March 2008. The start of the operation is scheduled for November 2009. The project investment is R$ 130 million, financed in a proportion of 70% for third-party resources and 30% for own resources.
