Afluente

The electric power produced by Presidente Goulart and Alto Fêmeas PCHs comes from 5 generating units with total capacity of 17.9 MW. Afluente has an energy sale contract with COELBA until 2027 for an annual supply of 148,920 MWh. In 2008 the company recorded a net profit of $ 35.0 million from the sale of generated energy and the revenue by the use of its transmission system of approximately 300 km. EBITDA was R$ 39.5 million, representing 2% of the cash flow of Group Neoenergia.

Controlled by Grupo Neoenergia, which owns 87.84% of shares, Afluente was formed on August 31, 2005 to assume the assets of generation and transmission of COELBA, which were segregated in the distribution company in accordance to the process of decentralization of the Brazilian Electric Sector.
